How to Set Up a Kids Teepee Tent - Step-by-Step Guide

What’s included
Your teepee set includes:
- teepee fabric cover
- 8 wooden pole sections (to create 4 full-length poles)
- 2 cotton ties on the top
- wooden stabilizer
- storage bag
- decorative wooden feathers
- floor mat (if included in your selected set)

Step 1 - Assemble the poles
Connect the wooden pole sections to create 4 full-length poles.
Make sure each connection is fully tightened before moving to the next step.

Step 2 - Insert the poles into the fabric
Slide each assembled pole into the fabric sleeves inside the teepee cover.
Important: the drilled holes in the poles must remain at the top.

Step 3 - Secure the top
Thread the first cotton tie through the holes in two poles, wrap it around the poles, and tie securely.
Repeat with the second cotton tie.
Do not tighten fully yet - you may need a little flexibility for adjustment.

Step 4 - Raise the teepee
Carefully stand the teepee upright and spread the poles evenly to create the desired shape.
Adjust the spacing until the structure looks balanced.

Step 5 - Install the stabilizer
Insert the wooden stabilizer between the poles at the top.
This locks the structure in place and helps keep your teepee stable.
Important: the poles must cross in the correct direction, as shown in the photo/video instructions.
If positioned incorrectly, the stabilizer may not fit properly.

Step 6 - Final adjustments
Once the teepee is standing correctly:
- tighten the cotton ties securely
- adjust the fabric height if needed
- spread the base evenly for a symmetrical shape
If you'd like the fabric to sit lower and reach the floor more fully, slightly loosen the top ties and readjust the poles.
Step 7 - Add finishing touches
Place the floor mat inside (if included), tie the front curtains open, and decorate your teepee with the included wooden feathers or your own favorite accessories.
Your cozy play space is ready.

Troubleshooting
The teepee looks uneven
→ Check that the poles are spread evenly and crossing correctly.
The stabilizer doesn’t fit
→ The poles may be positioned in the wrong direction. Recheck Step 5.
The fabric doesn’t reach the floor
→ Loosen the top ties slightly and lower the structure.
The poles feel unstable
→ Make sure all pole connections are fully tightened and the stabilizer is installed correctly.
Safety note
Adult assembly is recommended.
Please check the teepee regularly to ensure all parts remain securely fastened.
