For over 10 years, I’ve been designing handmade curtains and decor that turn ordinary beds into magical, private worlds where children can feel safe, play freely, and dream.
How it all started
As a child, I loved building little hideouts - draping blankets over tables and turning them into secret worlds of my own. That feeling of comfort and imagination stayed with me.
Years later, when my daughter was little, I made her first teepee. She instantly fell in love with it - filling it with books, toys, and inviting us inside. That small, cozy space became her whole world.
That moment became the beginning of ITSFORKIDS - a journey of creating small, cozy worlds where children can feel safe, play freely, and just be kids.
From one teepee to thousands of cozy spaces
Over time, my work grew - but everything changed when I discovered the IKEA KURA bed.
I saw something more than just a bed. I saw endless possibilities.
One day it became a little shop, the next - a castle, a secret hideout, or a quiet place to rest.
That’s when I started creating curtains and canopies designed specifically for Kura beds and bunk beds - to help parents easily transform a simple bed into a meaningful space for their child.
